Sketches for Art projets
Exhibition at the Atrium, Bergen School of Art
Sketches for Art Projects is a painting experiment in which I combined fragments from various artistic processes—both completed and ongoing—to create a new work. In this project, I drew from paintings made over the past three years in combination with wall paintings.
The goal was to disrupt my own artistic process, which is usually very controlled and carefully planned. In this work, I approached the process both freely and deliberately, where the compositions were not based on narrative content but on intuitive and aesthetic choices.
The result is a maximalist painting installation composed of fragments from different processes, including painting on canvas, wall painting, textiles, and silk scarves.
