For this public art project, it felt natural to draw inspiration from text, sound, and information. I have created associations around phenomena ranging from sound waves to the new words of the year. The entire piece is woven together in a collage that can be interpreted in many different ways, depending on the viewer’s references. The artwork is designed to create a sense of movement that unites the space, and it can be viewed both as a frieze or as small, individual moments. The building combines original architecture with a newly added extension. The title refers to two years – when the school was first built and when the extension was planned.
